Mid-2003 the state-of-the-art fish processing site, the largest in Germany and the newest in Europe, started operating in Sassnitz on the island Rügen. In the 14.000 m² processing area freshly caught fish is sorted, filleted and frozen. On a daily basis 600 tons can be cooled and 240 tons freshly frozen. For varying application areas and performance categories Güntner supplied 136 air coolers (types S-GHN, S-GGN, S-DHN, S-DGN, and S-DGF).
