The recently constructed Rinecker Proton Therapy Center (RPTC) in <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Munich</st1:City></st1:place> is a privately organised and financed cancer treatment centre, that bases its therapies on nuclear physics. It is the first cancer centre of this size in <st1:place w:st="on">Europe</st1:place> and besides the centres of the Loma Linda University Los Angeles and the Harvard University Boston the third largest treatment centre of this kind worldwide.

The following Güntner units are installed in the centre: 

- 9 S-GFH 102C/2x5-S(D)F4/2P with a total power spectrum of 3,500 kW
- 2 HKT 1.8-52-2S-B6-B4-SX3 by Jäggi with a total power spectrum of 1,110 kW
