Determine the area reserve:
If a certain performance is predefined, the GPC provides the opportunity to search for the so-called surface reserve. For this purpose you need to activate in the input mask "thermodynamics" the calculation mode "state fixed capacity (adjust surface reserve)". After the input of the capacity specifications the thermodynamic calculation of the heat transfer coefficient (u-value) defines the needed heat exchanger surface. If you compare the calculated surface with the effective surface of the selected unit, you will receice the surface reserve, that exceeds, in general, the unit's performance capacity.
