Quality

It is only natural that the definitions of what is and constitutes quality are as varied as the perceptions of the persons involved.

Possible definitions

  • Quality is what the customer wants. Because the customer knows best what constitutes quality for him, what quality he needs and how much it is worth to him.
  • Quality is the total of a product's properties and the corresponding provision of services.
  • Quality means the concordance between rendered services and the requirements stipulated by the purchaseer (in the contract). Neither more nor less.
  • Quality reflects the degree to which demands and expectations are met.
  • High level of (operational) security
  • Low environmental pollution etc.

In the past, quality was often defined through specific product properties (preferably unlimited lifetime of a product, e.g. Güntner floating coil principle).
Today, besides the product properties, it is the efficiency of the organization, specifically of their management, for self-control and the success in the market that is most important.

For the quality and the manufacturing of a product, the preferred definition of quality is less important than the fact that all persons involved in the production process are able to decide on a common definition that is understood and accepted.

For this reason, the company Güntner has been certified in accordance with the new and process-oriented
DIN ISO 9001:2000 since December 2000.

With the quality management approach "Competent, reliable and personal" , the internal processes and sequences were optimized in the year 2000 in order to be able to fulfill the customer's wishes even better in the future.
